Team rollout

Are you ready to roll AI out to your team?

You've made it work for yourself: it drafts your emails, chases the numbers, takes the duller half of your day. The harder question is what happens when it's not just you, when it's ten inboxes and ten judgement calls, and one chance to get the first impression right. Six quick questions on where your team actually stands, and the one thing worth doing next.

  1. Is there already some informal way people swap what’s working with AI?
  2. Is there anyone on the team likely to push back or roll their eyes at this?
  3. Is there anything written down about what’s okay to use AI for, and what isn’t?
  4. Do you have a specific first job in mind for the team to use AI on?
  5. Do you use AI somewhere your team can actually see it, or hear about it?
  6. If someone used it badly (pasted something they shouldn’t, sent a client an obviously AI-flavoured reply) would you find out, and is there an obvious next step?

Whatever your score

The next step is always the same size.

Wherever you landed, you don't need a grand plan this week. You need one guide, read properly, and one small move on the back of it. These two cover the two halves of a calm rollout: the practical order of operations, and the human side of getting people on board.

Plan the rollout properly.

If you'd rather work out your team's rollout plan alongside people who do this for a living, that's exactly what our AI Automation Masterclass in Manchester is for. Half a day at Heron House, laptops open, and you leave with a plan for your own team. Tickets are normally £20. This one's free, a limited-time offer to launch the series.
